1. I'm old. It's official. No, it has nothing to do with me turning 32 in a few weeks. It's not that there are times when my bones ache. Nope. I went to the eye doctor on Sunday and, aside from the fact that my prescription has changed for the worse once again, she suggested that I should start using reading glasses.
2. Perhaps I'm missing something in this Rolling Stone review, but it really seems like they gave the new Arcade Fire album, Neon Bible, three and half stars because they don't like the production. Is it me? Am I reading this wrong? It seems like they're not actually reviewing it based on the songs themselves but on they way they were mixed. Very strange. Frankly, I think Neon Bible is really freaking good. And I want to take the song (Antichrist Television Blues) behind the middle school and get it pregnant.
3. I'm not sure I like the new White Sox commercials I've been hearing on the radio. Basically, it goes like this: Two guys are talking about all the great accomplisments of the Sox in the last season. They talk about the number of wins, the great pitching, the number of All-Star players, and so on. Just raving about everything. Then they conclude that last season was just awful because they didn't make it to the World Series. Frankly, if I were the players, I'd be really pissed off with the Sox marketing team for basically insulting them and telling them that, for all the good they did, they weren't good enough. But then, I don't follow baseball like some of my friends do. I'll leave it to them to tell me if it really was as bad as the marketing team thinks.
4. Speaking of friends, Neil's drawing again. Go give him some kudos.

Drawing sucks. I'd rather listen to awful baseball commercials on the radio...
