Today begins the first step in getting rid of all of my comics. It's been a great run but its time to say goodbye. I've been collecting since the 80's so I have a crap load of boxes of comics that haven't been read in years. They've just been sitting in my parent's basement, collecting dust.
So, its time to get rid of them (my parents would like that too, I"m sure).
So, today is step 1. Determining exactly what books I have. We're just gonna sit down with every massive box and catalog each comic and its "grade." I used to be very careful, so I'm sure that most of them are near mint, but we'll see.
Step 2 will be trying to get a general idea of the value of each book.
Step 3 will be to toss everything up on Craig's List and see what real-world price we can get for it all.
So, I think for now, I will be using this blog as a way to relive some of my old comic memories as I revisit the nightmare that was 80's and 90's superhero comics.
Should be fun.
