The Music Episode

1.) You know, when we signed up for XM satellite radio, I was under the impression that more choices for music actually meant more music. After a few months, it's now pretty clear that XM radio is just a way to play U2, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, and that one maudlin Snow Patrol song over and over again. Sure, every once in a while, they'll fit in some other songs but, really, that's pretty much what you get.

Actually, I'm overstating a bit. They actually do play a lot of music that's pretty cool and stuff I'd never heard before (which is also pretty cool). It's just tucked in between that one Primitive Radio Gods that they play EVERY morning and Coldplay's "Yellow"!

Also, last night, I heard the same U2 song playing on two separate XM channels at the same time.

4.) Check out the new NINE INCH NAILS album! It's really f***ing good! I have to say that I never got into "With Teeth." It never clicked for me. But after just one listen to "Year Zero" and I was completely blown away. So, listen to the album (for free) and then pre-order Year Zero right now!
